A.L.P.S. Strapping Control Systems
Rowe Conveyor’s fully Automatic Load Positioning System offers over 8,000 user configurable strap patterns plus many more features.
We offer both a Simplified Strapping Control System and a very advanced Strapping Control System.
A.L.P.S. Automatic Strapping System is offered by Rowe Conveyor LLC as the most advanced, easy to use and most capable Automatic Load Positioning System available today. With several installations operating both major brands of compression strapping machines it is a proven technology.
The Automatic Load Positioning system uses high precision measuring sensors to insure accurate strap positioning. The controls are housed in a NEMA-12 48” operator console and employ a Control Logics PLC. The PLC can communicate to the strappers, the touch screen, remote controllers, vision systems and PLC’s on a Data Highway network.
All automatic functions are done via the Color Touch Screen. Pushbuttons are supplied for all manual functions to ensure high reliability of the system.
Through the touch screen the operator can create up to 30,000 Custom Strap Patterns or use up to 100 Standard Strap Patterns. The most recent 100 patterns used are easily accessible from the Recent Pattern List.
An Optional Vision System or a Bar Code Scanner can be added to read product information from a load tag to automatically select the correct strap pattern.
