Rowe Conveyor’s Small Foot-print, High Speed Load Former is a small footprint load former with add-ons including Bottom Sheet Inserter, Tie Sheet Inserter, Bundle Feed Table and Robotic Bundle Positioner. With all of the above it becomes a low-cost operatorless machine.
We have fully designed this machine. If you are the first to purchase, you get the machine at our cost to build.
Machine ROI for the first two years is about $190,000.00 for a two shift operation. The first machine will cost much less than that.
Our Auto-Flex® Small Footprint Robotic Load Former is a high speed operatorless load former designed to work with both 37” and 50” flexo/folder/gluers. The same machine can be either floor or pit mounted. The machine is modular as is all of our equipment. The full machine includes a Base Load Former module, Fixed and adjustable back stops, a Bottom Sheet Insertion Module, a Tie Sheet Insertion module, a Feed Conveyor module and a Robotic Bundle Sweep module.
The operator friendly control system does not need any complicated robot teach systems. The operator simply chooses the Tier Pattern, the Bundle Size and the Tie Sheet requirements. These “recipes” can be stored for easy future selection similar to selecting a strap pattern on a strapping system.
Full System Diagnostics are included and accessible by means of the Touch Screen. Calibration and trouble-shooting tips along with full on-board electronic manuals are viewable via the touch screen.
Our Auto-Flex® Robotic Load Former is designed to operate on high speed Flexo/Folder/Gluers but can operate on many other machines. The load building cavity is 66” wide by 66” long and can build a load up to 60” high.
Our Auto-Flex® Robotic Load Former can be fully automatic OR by “Parking” the robot, can be operated in a conventional manner with one operator.
The machine is modular. A customer could purchase the Base Load Former with Back Stops and Feed Table then later add the Bottom Sheet Inserter, the Tie Sheet Inserter and the Bundle Sweeping Robot to convert the machine to an operatorless machine.
The Touch Screen Operator Interface is very simple and intuitive. This control is located outside the robot movement area yet conveniently located for manual operation. Selecting Load Forming recipe is as simple as selecting a strap pattern for an automatic strapping system.
Safety controls include physical stops, torque limiters and safety light curtains. The robotic mechanisms are fully separated from the operator areas of the machine with safety light curtains.
Small Footprint! Our Auto-Flex® Robotic Load Former is by far the smallest footprint fully automatic load former available. It fits into a space even smaller than a conventional load former. Please ask for details.
